Let me introduce myself – I’m AquaMarina.
I’ve been happily married for nearly twenty eight years, we have two grown-up offspring and we are lucky enough to live on the largest of an idyllic group of five islands off the coast of south west UK. We run two small businesses which are both seasonal – the holiday season here runs from March till October.
I’m just preparing to start a brand new groundbreaking course with the Open University called T189 Digital Photography: Creating and Sharing Better Images.
Start date is May 1st so I’m doing some ‘getting ready’ work. Students have been provided with a full copy of Adobe Photoshop Elements 5 as part of the course materials together with a DVD of Elements tutorials, a course website, an OpenStudio image sharing website (only accessible by T189 students, I’m afraid) and an online Open University course forum.
There are 1500 students registered to start the course – so many, in fact, that we’ve been divided into two groups named Red and Blue. I’m in the Red Group. Our online course conferences are already buzzing with students eager to start the course so I thought I’d create a blog so I can keep a diary of my studies
